24 Week Checkup

So,today was my 24 week checkup with Dr. Beckman. I was so excited to my sweet baby boy. My blood pressure was good 90/58 and I gained 6 pounds...ouch! However, I have only gained 7.5 pounds total. Then, we got to see our sweet baby. I love getting ultrasounds! I had to have another one since he wasn't cooperating last time, so we couldn't see his heart chambers. This time, he did a wonderful job. The heart looked good and he was resting until she got done with his heart. Then, he started moving like crazy! He kept putting his sweet little hand on top of his head. Plus, we double checked....still a boy. No doubt about it!! So, after the ultrasound, we saw Dr. Beckman. He measured my fundus....he is measuring almost 4 weeks ahead! Yep, he will be a big baby! Not that I am surprised by that. Lily was too. Dr. Beckman seemed relieved that I was planning on a c-section instead of v back. Anyway, my issue the last couple of days has been acid reflux. It has been so bad that I can't sleep. Even sitting up, I feel the acid in back of my throat and in my ears. No pleasant that's for sure. I am not suppose to take protonix until later in pregnancy so I have been taking tums. Well, its notworking. So, now I am taking zantac. Fingers crossed! Next appointment is August 1. I have to do my glucose test before then...not looking forward to it :( Please excuse any mistakes ...our computer is out of commission and I am using my kindle fire.
