Not a baby anymore :(

This is my beautiful BIG girl! This picture makes me realize that she is growing up faster than I would like. Definitely a little diva in the making. However, I wouldn't have it any other way. I love you Miss Lillian....even though you are becoming a big girl!!

Well, these pictures are out of order. However, I don't really have time to correct them. These are a few pictures of Lily's birthday party. She had a cupcake theme. Anway, hope you enjoy them!

What's going on with Lily?

I can't believe my baby girl is 2. Seriously, where is the time going? I feel very blessed to be her mommy. She is such a sweet, happy, and healthy little girl. I can't even imagine my life without her. She loves people!!! This little girl is very sociable. She has not meet a stranger (this is a good and bad thing). Always telling people hi, waving at them, and blowing kisses. She has a huge smile that just brightens your day!!

Lillian's favorites:
Mickey Mouse anything!!
Dora anything!!!
She loves to sleep with moose, minnie mouse, pooh, piglet, and dog dog....yes, they have to all be with her when she is sleeping!
One minute she is very much a girly girl, then the next minute very much a tom boy.
She loves animals, being outdoors, slides, playing tea party, reading books, going bye bye and playing with her best friend Eva or "Eve" is what she calls her.
She loves to cuddle at night...with mommy and daddy

She is starting into the picky stage with food. However, she still likes raisins, apples, Gerber puffs/crunch, ice cream and peas.

Lily sleeping habits: well, she doesn't have any. Most nights we will try to get her into bed between 8-9, she will sleep until 8:00-8:30. However, when I am working, she gets up at 6am. She usually takes 1 nap for about an hour -2hrs. This schedule is what we stride for, some days we are lucky, other days not so much.

Last Dr. appt. Lily weighed in at 26.7lbs and 33 in. tall. Wears 18 months shorts/24 month pants-with adjustable waistband, and 24month/2T tops. She is in size 6-7 shoe. Still in size 4 diapers (hopefully not for long....potty training time)

Lily can count to 14. She knows animals and their sounds and shapes. We are working on colors and alphabet. She sings "Row Row Row your boat" "I'm a little teapot" "Rain is a good thing".

This is Lily in a nutshell. However, there is so much more about her :) She is changing daily!!

My Vacation So Far

I was very blessed with the opportunity to have 10 days off!! I am so lucky to say the least!! I have been off for 7 days now and I am not wanting to go back :(

So, what have I been doing on my days off???

Well, I started off running errands, cleaning, taking Lily to her 2yr check up, Lily's 2nd birthday party, Lily's birthday, Mother's day, playing outside, running more errands, cooking, followed by more cleaning. Geez, those 7 days have flown by!!! I feel like I haven't really relaxed at all.

So, my first day off, I left Lily in the living room for a minute to use the restroom. I seriously wasn't gone for long. In the process, Lily opened up her "toy box" and took out all her toys and jumped in it.

So, the next day, I spent 6 hrs cleaning the house. I cleaned and cleaned. John's mom took Lily for the day, so I could clean. I was very thankful for that!!

Later that day, John wanted to mow the lawn. Lily loves when daddy mows. She always gets to ride with him when he is done.

Then, she wanted to push mow!

Lily at Dr. Bies office, she is such a character.

Lily's birthday cakes. I had to drive to Santa Claus for them. However, so worth!!

Decorations for Lily's party

Lily's outfit for her party. I actually made the tutu :)

My birthday girl! Can't believe she is 2!

Lily and I on Mother's Day....Lily's birthday.

Lily picked out these bows for her hair....we had to put them just like that. Fortunately, she got tired of them in her hair an hour later. She has such a personality :)

Well, this is what I have been doing. I will post more about Lily 2 year milestone later. This momma is tired!!
