This and that

So many things have been going on. First, John got a promotion at work....yipee! He is now the manager for Hub 1 in Dubois. He has started in the position last week, but he is officially the manager on October 7th. He seems to like the job so far, but he is still in training.

Our best friends Aaron and Jen got married over the weekend. It was such a beautiful wedding. Jen looked absolutely amazing! We had a really good time. John and I were both in the wedding. We were so honored to be a part of their big day. They are in Jamaica right now on their honeymoon. I can't wait to hear all about it!! Congrats Mr & Mrs Andrews!!

Work is still crazy! We keep getting sicker and sicker patients everyday. We just flew out a 24 year old on the vent. WOW! Seriously...that is too young!! Oh! A couple of weeks ago, we sent a 23 year old to Louisville on the vent and she was pregnant!!! That is scary stuff! So, I am preaching....get your flu shots and wash your hands frequently!!! If you are sick...stay home...I don't want to see you at Wal-Mart!!!

I got to go home a couple of weeks ago to see my family in Illinois. It was so nice to see everyone. You don't realize how much you miss home until you go back. Lily and I went by ourselves. John had to work. We missed him bunches while we were gone. Lily got to experience her first Town and Country Days.....she seemed to enjoy it. She was good...she was wishing she could have a corn dog too!!

We started Lily on solid foods. We tried the whole rice cereal thing first. She ate it, but she didn't like it. So, I tried to mix the cereal with baby food, again she ate it, but she didn't like it. So, I just tried the baby food....she LOVED it!!! She was eating it up like crazy!! We have tried the sweet potatoes and the green beans. She loves the green beans. I guess I wasn't putting it in her mouth fast enough because she grabbed the spoon out of my hand. She is something else!! In other news, I'm waiting for her teeth to appear. This child has been chewing on things, drooling like crazy, and fussy at times. I just wish this tooth would come already. We have been dealing with this for a long time now.

Well, the last couple of days have not been that great for me. On my way home from work last night, I ran over a cat. I was so upset about it. However, this cat ran out in front of me and I really tried to stopped. Then, on my way home today, this semi was going south, while I was going north. Anyway, this semi was driving like a bat out of hell, he was in my lane. To make a long story short, Lily and I are alright, but my windshield is not. When the semi was getting back to his lane, he hit a rock and it hit my car. Of course it would hit my car...I have the worse luck in the world. So, now I have to figure out if I really need to talk to my insurance company or just pay out of pocket for a new windshield. Oh! That just makes me so mad!!!!

John and I are going to go look at a 4-Runner tomorrow. My co-worker is selling hers. I really need a SUV. My car is slowly getting smaller with Lily and all her things. I'm not trading in my car or selling it. We actually need another vehicle anyway, so this is a good opportunity. Hopefully, we will get it. Not really wanting a payment, but sometimes you just have to suck it up.

Well, I'm really going to try to be better at posting!!

Here are Lillian's 3 month pics:

Alright...not all of then uploaded like they were supposed to, so I'll upload them later. Too tired to do it now!
