Tuesday, mommy had a meltdown. Lillian was so cranky. Anything and everything I did was wrong....she cried nonstop. I was becoming a nervous wreck and I knew she could sense it too. Luckily, John got off work early and called home. I told him he needed to get home as fast as he could, I needed help. So, of course, daddy walks in the door and all is well with Lily. I guess she just needed her daddy. I was just so happy she wasn't crying. Later that night, Lily had her first real tummy time. We laid her down and let her go to town. She really liked it. She did such a good job getting her head up. She can keep it up for a couple of minutes at a time!! Of course, mommy thinks she is a genius!!
Look at her!!
"I think I can do it"
Wednesday was our family trip to Wal-Mart, CVS, and the bank. Lily always does such an amazing job when we go out. She either sleeps or just looks around. We haven't had a meltdown in public yet.....however, I know it is coming.....I can just feel it.
Today was cleaning day here at the Potts'. I honestly haven't cleaned like this since I found out that I was pregnant. So, I just went to town. I'm so embarrassed to say that the bathtubs haven't been cleaned since last August. So, that was definitely a chore in itself. After I finally cleaned everything in the house, we went to John's brother's house to feed their animals while they are on vacation. I wanted to take Lily there so she could see the chickens, turkeys, cats, dogs, rabbits, and cows. Needless to say, she fell asleep. I guess she wasn't too impressed with all those animals. Maybe when she is older she will like them.
Tomorrow is going to be a fun day. Our friends, Adam and Rae are coming up to spend the weekend with us. They haven't got to see Lillian since she was born. Oh! They are in for a surprise. She is so different from the day she was born. I can't wait for them to see her!!
Oh! On a side note, Lily is doing a lot better with her feedings. She is not spilling up as much. Don't get me wrong, we still have a feeding from time to time that she basically vomits back up. However, for the most part, she is doing really well. Plus, she is taking her Zantac a lot better too. Mommy is so happy about this!!
